SMITHERS, B.C. – The liquified natural gas (LNG) industry is looking for more workers for its Kitimat facility.

The LNG 新澳门六合彩开奖结果2023 Connect program, previously introduced in Kitimat and Terrace in 2015, is an effort to bring local workers onto the partnership鈥檚 LNG export terminal project in Kitimat. The program began with funding from LNG 新澳门六合彩开奖结果2023 and operated as an extension to the BCCA鈥檚 Skilled Trades Employment Program (STEP). LNG 新澳门六合彩开奖结果2023 is a joint venture between Shell, PetroChina, Korea Gas Corporation and Mitsubishi.

The Coastal GasLink pipeline project will run approximately 670 kilometres in length transporting natural gas from the Dawson Creek area of northern B.C. to the Kitimat facility.
