EDMONTON 鈥 The governments of 新澳门六合彩开奖结果2023 and Alberta have signed a renewed 10-year agreement for the 新澳门六合彩开奖结果2023 Community-Building Fund (CCBF), with Alberta set to receive more than $1.3 billion for the next five years to provide long-term funding to communities.
CCBF聽has supported major infrastructure projects in Alberta including the widening and reconstruction of Township聽Road 232聽in Rocky View County, upgrading of Lockhart Road in Lacombe County, the construction of a multi-use recreational facility for the Town of Coaldale, and the replacement of a deteriorated and unsafe bridge at Gift Lake Metis Settlement on Township聽Road 794A, a release said.
Since 2015 the聽CCBF聽has supported more than聽1,400 road聽and highway infrastructure projects across Alberta totalling over聽$749 million.
The renewed agreement 鈥渨ill support growth of Albertan communities by taking a holistic approach and tying infrastructure investments 鈥 such as public transit, recreation centers, water and wastewater systems 鈥 to housing needs where appropriate,鈥 the release said.
The federal government is renewing the CCBF and is investing $26.7 billion over the next 10 years across the country to support core infrastructure projects, the release added.
