Day one of the inquest on Jan. 31 offered a technical deep dive into the design and fabrication of a crucial swing stage that collapsed, contrasted with a poignant impact statement issued by the widow of one of the dead workers.  Daily Commercial News staff writer Angela Gismondi spoke to Lee-Anne Lyon-Bartley, the executive vice-president of health, safety, environment and quality at Dexterra Group, about being recognized in the 100 Accomplished Black Canadian (ABC) Women of 2022.
